Prologue

Emma Stanford thinks what she is today is all she'll ever be: a rebel. A rebel with a normal life. It was until she noticed her father getting strange calls and acting differently. The more did her life turn when she met the handsome new student Connor Powell. He seemed harmless to her eyes, but little did she know that there was more about him than what meets the eye. He was dangerous behind the dark-rimmed glasses, and more importantly, he knew more about her than what she knows. While Emma was apathetic to what's going on around her, Connor's working behind the scenes to save her. But with their personalities clashing, can Connor really save the rebel in distress?
