Isabelle Ray is a 16 year old girl whose mom is dead and her dad abuses her and to make matters worse, she is starting a new school. She is afraid to tell someone that he hits and beats her. But when she meets a boy named Cameron Boyce, she feels like she can tell him and when she does, she ends up in a foster home with 2 other girls.
