Georgianna (Georgia/Georgie/Geo) Heilesen has plenty of hobbies, but her one true passion is science. She just finished her undergraduate degree in the field of Biology at the University of Calgary and had applied to start her Master of Science (MSc) to pursue health sciences at the very same university. Hubbah hubbah, congratulations Georgia. Where do I begin? Let's see, well I'll start by telling you that Georgia isn't much of a people person. Unfortunate for her, but that has to change - grad school is going to stretch her boundaries in a way she never quite expected (and don't we all take at least a little pleasure in knowing we aren't alone in facing such dreaded developments). Despite the sudden change of pace to her everyday life, she remains reclusive and inwardly anxious; that is, until she discovers a little faded blue notebook that completely changes her life and, quite possibly, the lives of those around her.
