Description
There is a group of brothers living in a quiet house in a quiet suburban neighborhood whom all the neighborhood girls are obsessed with. Nobody knows anything about them except that they're sheltered by their oppressively religious parents... and the youngest brother attempted suicide last week. When 14-year-old Raven Carter finally gets up close and personal with Maddox Evans, the most mischievous of the brothers, she realizes just how complex the family truly is, and decides to try and help Maddox, who is the only brother with even a little hope... but that won't be easy. And what's making it all worse is that all of Maddox's brothers are killing themselves one by one, killing Maddox's spirit and drive to get out of the house... and even killing his own will to live. Will Raven be able to somehow get Maddox away from that terrible excuse of a home... or will he succumb to his depression and choose the fate of his brothers?
