A teaser of one of my science-fictional projects I have been working on over the years. The setting resembles that of a post apocalyptic story, but in an alternate timeline that mirrors our current one.

This story is not a tale of the future, nor of mankind's ability to overcome impossible odds. It is a story of failure. It is a story of loss and of sacrifice. It is a record—a record of the final stand the few survivors of humankind made against the alien genocide.
