Waning moon-Prologue

When Macie was young, she saw her best friend sacrifice himself to let her run. Now, years later, she is still plagued by these memories, and refuses to let the past go. But when her life is suddenly turned upside down by supernatural events, it is the past that will allow Macie to move onto a new life. Whether she will survive this new life, however, will be decided before the waning moon is gone.
