At almost 16, she could speak four different languages, was used to having an array of staff catering to her every whim, and had traveled the world in its entirety. After her parent's are arrested and sent to prison, Blanche has no choice but to move in with her ailing Gran as the only alternative to foster care. While caring for Gran is hard work, Blanche is grateful to escape the system and willing to do anything to keep Gran as her sole guardian. Even if it means going to the one place Blanche had never been: High School. Lucas White, on the outside, appears to be the average high school all-star. The girls want to be with him, the guys want to be friends with him, and the football scouts want to recruit him. But what is it that Luke wants?
