All of Genny's life, she had no idea that at the age of twenty-three she'd have a child to take care of, be working long hours late at night, and have no one to help her with it all.

Her best friend, Tiff, has been trying to tell her to reach out to the baby's father, Anthony Padilla. Genny refuses, though, saying that she can manage since she's been doing pretty well for the past four months, and telling him would just cause chaos. Ian Hecox, Genny's best guy friend, soon finds out about it and sides with Tiff, urging Genny to tell him.
