PROLOGUE: First meeting

A heartwarming story set before, during and after the second world war. A tale which follows the lives of two children who meet on a summer evening before they start senior school. It will follow them as they struggle through the diffuculties of teenage life: exams, heartbreak and new love. Throughout this though, they never leave each others sides. But then war breaks out and everything changes.
I cannot promise you a happy journey, but I can promise you a happy ending.
