Kailynn Baker is a 16 year old girl with four older brothers. Dalton-who also has custody of her since their parents died in a house fire-is 24, Ian is 22, Peter is 19 and Brian is 18. Kailynn often suffers from nightmares involving her parents death. They died when she was 10.

She gets along with her brothers surprisingly well. But when it comes to boys, they are very protective of her. She's not that into boys anyway, but when she meets Jake, he turns her world upside down. Will Kailynn be able,but most importantly will she know how to deal with love when her life is already full of problems?
