Chapter 1

On a mission involving all of the Akatsuki, everyone is separated in order to take down the leader of a group of ninjas, leaving Kisame doing his part of the mission alone. Things don't quite go as he planned, however, and he finds himself befriending someone he never expected in order to finish what he started.
