Humanity is in trouble. An extraterrestrial force is preparing to attack. In the midst of all this, five young adults--a hockey-playing Irish-American kid from Chicago's south side, a budding intellectual from Dublin, a woman born in Caracas, but living in Rio de Janiero, and two extraordinarily wealthy siblings from Kyoto--come to Tokyo for an internship opportunity.
