It's been seven weeks now and still no sign of life. I thought I would have found something by now. A animal? A plant? A grain of sand? Anything! But all I see is open ocean. I've been adrift out here for I don't know how long now and my mouth has become extremely dry. I guess that's what i get for running from home. My names Silver Strider and I'm a 14 yr old pirate. And a proud one at that. Of course...... I was. My mother was the Captain of our ship. The golden beauty we called her. She was the best ship in all the seven seas and carried us all the way from Asia to the sandy beaches of South America. Those where the days......... Now I'm stranded out at sea all alone with no view of land anywhere in sight. How, you ask, did I get here? Well then. Get comfortable, cause this is going to be a long story.
