I walked past him in the hallways. As soon as he saw me he immediately looked the other way and his smile disappeared. I ducked my head, trying to focus myself on walking to my next class instead of on his flawless face. Science. I thought to myself, pushing past the crowded hallway. As I entered the room, my best friend Cierra turned her attention to me. "San!!" she shouted across the tiny classroom. "Hey" I said grimly, faking a smile and walking past her to grab my notebook off the shelf. "What's wrong San?" she said as I pushed past everyone heading to my seat at the back of the room. "What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine." "Okay class..." the teacher interrupted. "Everybody head to your seats so we can begin class." the teacher gave Cierra the 'death glare' until she returned to her seat.
