Prologue

In addition to our known universe, there exists an alternate dimension lying flat over ours like a permeable sheet. In it, a world functions identically to our own. Except, the inhabitants of that dimension are only carbon copies of us, going through the motions mindlessly. That is, until we (the Originals) fester enough spiritual energy to connect the two worlds and allow the Doubles to cross over. The government strives to keep such paranormal occurrences hidden from public eye, but Teagan Wrenald and her sidekick Oakley strive harder to make them known. Duplicity is the story of doppelgangers, paranormal phenomena, and rebellious twenty-somethings uncovering more than they bargained for.
