Description
For @Contests-Rants first Fairytale competition Disney's Beauty and the Beast is about a young prince who was turned into a monstrous Beast, a girl from a small French town, and their struggle.. When the girl's father is taken by the Beast, she trades herself to save her father. As the Beast's prisoner, she and the Beast begin to fall in love. Unfortunately, a hunter from the town decides to marry the girl and kill the Beast, but he is defeated. The Beast, now a human again, marries the girl and lives happily ever after... But that's what Disney wants you to think. Beauty and the Beast is actually the story of how one girl in a technologically advanced society (the world power, Etron, in 3216 A.D.) must decide between her true love or the government's decisions. Of course, that can be rather hard if you are actually part of the government.
