'Nobody gives you a second look. They would never come after you." I told myself again and again, until I believed that I was out of danger. But soon I learnt, never is a big word you have to be careful with. I chose to fall into denial, thinking that pretty girls just happened to be wild and reckless, putting themselves in vulnerable positions and indirectly brought this fate upon themselves by not choosing their actions wisely. Little did I know, it's not that simple. That the bravest, the smartest, the wisest can also have a weak moment and life won't have mercy on them. I wish I could still judge from my bubble. I wish I would never let my guards down but there is no plan to prevent us from reaching our limits and losing control at some point in life while there is every chance that we become undone in the wrong place at the wrong time. The world is full of monsters, lurking around and waiting for an opportunity to arise. I only wanted one night without worry, without restrictive thoughts and being tense. I admit I have managed to succeed in that venture but I also played into their hands unwittingly. My world was swallowed up the moment I was dragged into a car.
