Tom's Point Of View: Chapter 1

"I practiced all the things I'd say to tell you how I feel, and when I get the chance, it all seems so surreal." I start to say. "'Cause from the first time I saw you, in the school's cafeteria when that dude spilled my food all over me, I only thought about you, but I didn't know you then. I held on all the things you said to me when we ditched school." I tell him. "What I really wanted to tell you is that Mark, I like you so much. More than just a friend, something way more. I kept this secret for so long because I didn't know how to tell you exactly, I was scared you could say." I finish, and I wait for what he'll say. (Tom Delonge/Mark Hoppus)
