sixteen year old Takki has had a rough past. losing his friend and mentor Adrestia in an ambush caused him to leave the guild, his home for so many years and Ambrose his father-like mentor. three years of searching for answers, his old teacher contacts him. informing him of an abandoned base that he and Adrestia worked at many years ago may hold the answer he has longed searched for: what really happened three years ago? following up on the info he was given. he meets Arcana, an unusual A.I. who doesn't seem to belong there and Cypher a cybernetic hitman who seems to be searching for the same person. soon Takki realizes he might have bitten off more than he can chew. will he accept the truth of what happened and uncover what the guild has long since hid from the world or will he fall victim to the darkness pulling the string?
