Chapter 1: Erica

He grabbed her arm. "But no one can know about this. No one can know about us..."

When Erica came to her grandfather's old inn deep in the Connecticut forests as a punishment for the summer, she expected her days there to be long and boring. As you can probably guess, her thoughts were far from right, and after she meets a mysterious boy who works for her grandfather, Erica soon starts to realize that the inn has more to uncover than it seems, and without a choice in the matter, she is pulled into the magical world that had always surrounded her.
