Leila Hayes is home for the summer after 2 years of training overseas for the C.I.A. Noah Severide is the newest transfer at the Luana Police Department in California, where her Dad is the chief. One is on a mission to research and report the movements of an international terrorist group known as ISIS to aide in stopping a new attack aimed for the states, while the other is on a mission to find a mysterious presence that has been plaguing the town for a few weeks. Both collide into one another as they try to complete their separate assignments, but things start to get tricky when they start to fall for each other.
