The Care and Feeding of A Time Monster

Time had a habit of getting away from Otis, but not for the reasons usual to 10 year old boys. No, for Otis when time slipped away, it took him with it. And to be honest, usually time was not so much slipping away, as it was waiting with barely contained enthusiasm to grab him by the hand and make a dash for the nearest adventure. To Otis, time was a big puppy that didn’t know it’s own strength. A puppy that was always bounding toward something it shouldn’t be…with him in tow.
