1953, Conner Mckinley is new to Salt Lake High, and not used to any of the chaos that goes down there. He's just a normal, well raised kid from a homeschool. But he realizes he has a little secret when he is introduced to Kevin Price, a popular, dreamy greaser. He befriends with outcast and leader of the Space club, Arnold Cunningham, who guides and helps him in times of need. Also, a preppy group of boys accept him into the Sparkle Tarts, a squad of crazy friends with very different personalities. Follow Conner as he finds himself, his friends, and his true colors.
