In the Beginning

I always thought I was just an average girl. I was the one nobody bothered to notice. Who never dreamed I would be asked out, unless it was a joke. Who was made fun of occasionally. Living in a world that goes by popularity. You were either at the top or didn't have much of an existence. The school was ran by the girls with look, and nothing more. It seemed all you needed was beauty. If a girl was beautiful it didn't matter how bad her personality was. People would cling to her and give her all their attention. If you weren't beautiful then you didn't stand a chance. However, rare cases where a girl was pretty, but judged not good enough by the popular girls would be disrespected. Honestly, they only had looks. Why are looks so important? However, I found a way to get to the top without actually being a popular person or having the best looks. I found the top to be something else entirely that most girls only dream of...
