Chapter 1

When sent to Virginia to live with her mom and her mom's new husband, Lexi Taylor's summer plans of hanging out with her friends and working at the local snowcone shop are ruined. She's an only child, so she was glad to hear that her mom's fiance has two twins her age, Kinsley and Wesley, except it isn't as exciting as she had hoped once she meets them. Enter Landon Harley, Kinsleys boyfriend and Wesleys best friend, who has a depressing past and sides with Kinsley in not letting Lexi into their circle of friends. Lexi can't figure out what she'd did to make Landon dislike her so much, all she knows is that she can't get him out of her head, and maybe, just maybe, she's stuck in his too.
