Jannat Zaidi livid quietly in the streets of Chicago, as she wasn't anyone special. She worked hard for her brother's education fees and well, was a laid back lazy young adult. Little did she knew, that the quiet streets she called home had only betrayed her.

As Jannat is gripped by the secrets of city, she becomes accustoms to drug and rape culture, as her kidnapper or husband neatly concludes "Welcome to the dark side."
