Description
"I go out the door with my extra pair of clothes in hand, knowing that I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep. I drop the clothes on the ground and feel myself shifting into my wolf. I sighed as I felt the cool wind blowing through my fur and grabbed my clothes in my mouth. I took off into the woods in my backyard. I ran until I couldn't run anymore and I ended up where I always did, by the lake. I dropped my clothes onto the ground and sat staring at the ripples in the water caused by the guppies swimming around. Then I heard it, a distant howl that I could just barely hear. 'Mate' I heard my wolf,Luna, whisper. "How do you now that from a howl?" I asked her. 'I don't know how, but I know." She replied not sounding so sure herself. I howled back, hoping my mate would hear me. And then I heard another howl. By the pitch it sounded happy unlike the first howl which sounded sad; broken. Somehow he knew too, that we were mates."
