Emma McKenzie was badly burnt in a campfire explosion all because she was trying to impress a guy. What she didn’t know was it would cause her to be badly scarred, her parents to split up and for her to move home, leaving her friends behind. A former bully, she is now the victim known as Scar-Face at her new school because of her appearance. If that wasn’t bad enough she starts to find that she is attracted to the school’s hottest guy, Warren Smith. Yet he doesn’t even know she exists and his girlfriend is Emma’s biggest bully. Emma finds peace in her new best friend and next door neighbour Ryan, but this starts to fail when Warren finally takes interest in her. With problems at home, problems at school Emma just doesn't know who to trust. Will being a former bully come and bite Emma on the backside? Or will everyone start to realise that beauty is skin deep?
