Prologue

Bailey Smith never believed in supernatural events or all of that other silly, make-believe shit. All of the myths and fairytales are, to her, exactly that-myths and fairytales.

Then there is Mark Andrews. He does believe in all of that 'silly, make-believe shit'. He has secrets that not many people have to deal with. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, he struggles through life.

When Bailey and Mark run into each other, is it a mistake or part of fate's grand design? Could it be possible for these two opposites to attract? Is it possible for Mark to turn Bailey superstitious?
