Charlotte Jacobsen lived a normal life with a loving family, perfect boyfriend and a best friend who she has known all her life. She thought her life was perfect until the betrayal of her most trusted ones and the death of her father broke everything apart. She became a whole different person who's bitter, angry, and numb. She thought being comfortably numb is the best way to deal with the pain of loss and betrayal.
