Dan and Phil were best friends from the time their families moved in next to each others when they were 7, but they start to grow apart during middle school. Soon, Dan and Phil no longer talk as Dan climbs the social ladder to become the most popular guy in the grade. Despite no longer talking, Phil is in love with Dan, and has been since they meet. Phil thinks his case is hopeless, how could the most popular guy in school fall for an outcast like himself? Phil may not know it, but Dan hasn't stopped thinking about him either. But Dan has a choice to make, be with the guy he has secretly been in love with for years or remain at the top of the social pyramid with access to any girl he wants?
