After a family tragedy, Genevieve, Genna, Welmer is forced to leave her sunny state of California and move to Chicago, Illinois. Automatically, she clicks with the quarterback, Grayson Lakint. Although their relationship seems unconditional, Genna's insecurities tend to get in the way.

With everything going on, the one constant in Genna's life is Blake Cradner. He just so happens to be Grayson's best friend and teammate.

Genna feels as if her anxiety and insecurities constantly ruin her chances at a normal life, so she hides them and waits for someone to realize she isn't always, "not hungry".
