Prologue

I've been away from home for eleven years and now I'm back. I was in the Navy, and I was the youngest commander. When I came back home I became a Detective like my older brother Danny. I was always closer to Danny than anyone else in my family.
Danny and dad have always taught us that family matters more than anything else in this world. Dad, when we were kids taught us that if someone in our family was in danger then we should drop to our knees and say please don't hurt my family, and then the bad guy would end up being shot.
Our family motto is Honor, Truth, and Justice, which runs in our blood. Also a lot of people have learned to respect that.
