Chapter 1 page 1 (First encounters)

Caleb hated humans, to him, they served no purpose other than being his meal. He enjoys nothing more than causing death, pain and suffering and hunting out in the open.
His father then concocts a plan which quickly escalates out of control.
It is here where he meets Eliza, but he detests humans therefore him falling for a human was unthinkable, unmentionable, unfathomable,

But Eliza was like nothing he had ever seen, his fascination with her causes a rift in both the human and vampire world, bringing trouble and danger.
