Prologue

A young beagle mix named Home was born in a puppy mill and abused by a man for half his life.
That is, until he ran away and lived on the streets. Home makes a pack of his own and lives the normal life of a stray.
Until something happens.
All the humans disappear, all the food is gone, and all the dogs and cats are left to die.
