Chapter 1

Scott Kansas has been in the foster care system for as long as he can recall. Following the passing of his mother, his father, who struggled with alcoholism, held Scott responsible for the tragedy and subjected him to abuse. Years later, Scott finds himself transitioning to yet another foster home. This particular placement, however, stands out from the rest. In contrast to his previous experiences, where he faced bullying and discrimination for his individuality, this foster home exudes a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the presence of an appealing foster brother serves as an added bonus.
