"Um, I deleted the message right after I received it, thinking it was just a generic birthday wish," he explained, and a sudden surge of anger coursed through my veins. He was the one who had triggered this dormant anger within me. It hadn't been there before, so guess who deserved the backlash? Clearly, it was him. Without a second thought, I gritted my teeth and unleashed my fury, delivering a powerful punch to his face that caught him completely off guard. He winced in pain, clutching his nose. "Consider it a complimentary plastic surgery for your crooked nose, you asshole!" I snapped, my words dripping with disdain. His shock turned into anger as he glared at me, holding his throbbing nose. "Oh, and if you have a problem with that, feel free to sue me," I added before storming out of the building in a fit of fury.
