After 17 year old Serenity Pike is kidnapped, tortured, and forced to witness her family's murder, she is relocated. She is finding it hard to find the pests known as her emotions. Alone and lost she finds herself in her uncles care, showing her a life she only ever dreamed of. Without a warning her body begins to respond.
