Emotional endings and painful goodbyes were never Emma Clayton's thing.

When she finds out she is dying, goodbyes seem inevitable; the murderer, cancer, is slowly killing her and there is no way to stop it. Instead of becoming closer to the ones she loves, she finds herself pushing them farther away, afraid to show the ugly side of her dying can only bring out. She is ready to leave, ready to leave everyone she loves. She's set on parting ways... but there is one person who sees through her facade, someone who isn't ready to give her up... not yet.
