Prologue

Carine had no complaints about living with werewolves. After all, they took her in, a tiny, helpless human baby, when her parents didn't want her. They were rowdy, aggressive, and strange at times but she wouldn't change it for the world. Unfortunately she didn't expect to really, truly become a part of their world. After a visiting Alpha claims her as his mate she is left confused and unhappy with her situation. That is until a mysterious stranger comes and sets things right.
