So when Nicola Franta, Connor's beloved sister, gets randomly picked to be District 8's tribute in the 73th Hunger Games, what could Connor do but step up to take her place? And to make things worse, Connor's partner is the infamous Troye Mellet: A mysterious, alluring boy with a vicious instinct to kill. But he didn't matter to Connor, right? Connor had enough problems, after all, such as surviving. But Connor never knew that Troye would become his biggest problem. Troye Mellet was out to destroy him. In more ways than one.
