Fifteen year old, Gale Robins and her best friend, Victoria Bluewood, have moved to Oak Valley, a boarding school where horse riding is part of the curriculum. They've been best friends, as well as horse lovers, since before they can remember and are thrilled at the opportunity. Oak Valley seems perfect; a horse of your own, time to train and care for your horse, the ability to follow your dreams and the chance of a life-time.
But, as the term continues Gale realises how difficult jumping in an untrained horse like Vladimir is.
What follows is a tale of friendship, romance, adventure and a love for horses.
