Evelyn Rose had trained to become princess Maria's personal knight since she was a little girl. All she ever dreamed of was becoming a fierce protecter of someone that everybody looked up to and she finally got it. She was proud to be anointed to protect her princess but then he came along. Rebellious prince Kyo. Kyo and Maria were supposed to get married to form an alliance and while the princess was madly in love with Kyo he didn't feel the same about her. In fact, he despised her. Then one day Evelyn and Kyo bumped into each other. They began a whirlwind romance even though it could kill them both. What will happen with our two star-crossed lovers?
