Everything she does mends the world around her, but she is considered a monster. If she touches the earth, delicate white flowers sprout from the soil. If she touches the skin of another, their bodies are cleansed of any pain or sickness. If she speaks, her voice entices any listener with its inexplicable tone. And if she sings, miracles happen. She doesn't go outside, she doesn't touch people, she doesn't speak, and she never sings. Regardless of her desire to do those simple things, her unobliging caretakers would never allow it. All she can do is sit and watch as the world moves on without her . . .
