Prologue

On her sixteenth birthday, Eleanor discovers something impossible.

She is not human.

Abducted at night, she is taken to an ancient, forgotten city beneath the waves. Accompanied by an unlikely friend, Eleanor makes her escape.

Hunted down by the evil Mer king, Eleanor must travel across the seas to find the God of the Oceans. On her journey, she will discover love, betrayal, heartbreak - and, most of all, who she really is.
