Cathy Jean Jones is a 19 year old ballet dancer with lots of potential. The only problem is she doesn't believe in herself and she's depressed beyond belief. Her mother claims she's never seen her smile after her dad was taken away.

By chance, Cathy Jean meets Michael Jackson, a 20 going on 21 year old who has just released a new album titled "Off the Wall". He has his own fair share of insecurities. The two gravitate toward each other.

But will their issues cause their attachment to dissolve?
