Chapter One

When Miranda leaves her abusive husband and moves back home as a single parent, she never thought she'd run into Ron. Their high school friendship dissolved when she chose to date the basketball star over him. Now a single mother, she is relieved to get a great job, until she finds out that Ron owns the company. He makes his dislike for her known and she tries to stay away from him to save her job. But, just like in high school, she needs to be near him to feel whole and begins to wish for a do over. Knowing she can't change the past, she begins to hope for a brighter future, but will Ron be a part of it?
