Ashlee and I had been planning this party since the first day of senior year. I was excited for one reason, one reason only; my best friend since kindergarten; Niall Horan, was finally coming to see me. He had been gone for two years, ever since he tried out for XFactor. Him and his band had been on a tour around America and were finally coming back home Ashlee is originally from South Africa and she moved to Bradford where she met Zayn and has been friends since she was 12 and he was 13. So she was excited to see him as well. In all secrecy, I think she has a crush on him. Anyway, I think they’d look good together. “Katie, hurry up!” Ashlee called from downstairs. I was trying to slip off my graduation gown and cap, but me being clumsy, fell about twice. “I’m coming, I’m coming!” I called back, finally getting the gown off. Underneath my gown was my black pencil skirt and zebra print tank top. Ashlee had pretty much forced me into the skirt. I wanted to wear jeans, but NOOO. I fixed my hair quickly before running down the stairs, taking two at a time. “I’m here.” I announced, walking into the kitchen. Ashlee was setting out all the pop and food. Most likely, someone would sneak in beer. But oh well. “Bout time. The boys should be here any minute.” I squealed, jumping up and down the best I could in these stupid heels. Ashlee herself was wearing a black dress that was tight on top and flowed out at the waist. Most people would call Ashlee and I twins, although we look nothing alike. I have long dark brown hair and blue eyes. I have glasses and almost perfect skin. I’m pale and not the skinniest chick out there. Ashlee has long dark brown hair, brown eyes, she wears glasses when she reads, so she is always wearing her glasses as she is a major bookworm, and she’s tan.
