"Please, Don't Go!" Chapter 1

13 year old girl, Isabelle, is best friends with her 19 year old brother, Jeremy. But when Jeremy has to go back to Iraq to fight in the war she is so upset and overwhelmed. Now that he left it’s just her and her mother because her father passed away from cancer a few years ago. Isabelle now has to go through 8th grade with so many questions that she wants to ask her brother, but she can’t wait 3 weeks for him to send replies. So when Isabelle and her mom find out that Jeremy is coming home for Christmas they are very excited! Also inside all this excitement, they find some very depressing news.
