IS IT LOVE? Lola moves with what's left of her shattered family to middle-of-nowhere North Dakota in the hopes of finally getting over the betrayal and tragedy that was her father's death. A nice quiet town far, far away from their poisonous roots seems just the thing to unite them and save Lola from the tailspin of her depression. Yet when she'd faced with a boy who embodies all she hates in a male, and still can't seem to stay away, what will she do when she has to choose between him or finally rebuilding the lost trust of her sister. OR LUST? Zack, womanizing extraordinaire, sees her and knows he has to have her. Everything changes. His wires rearranged and suddenly she's the sole focus of his universe. She does not seem to feel the same way. And now for the first time ever Zack has to work hard to gain the affections of a girl. Yet try as he might she is always just out of his grasp. She can't seem to get far away fast enough. His cause is seriously impaired when her sister openly advances on him, causing Lola to distance herself impossibly further. What may seem a simple story of boy meets girl turns into so much more as the characters learn to deal with ravaging guilt, growing jealousies, and a hopelessness that will drive the two into a tale-spin of rash decisions and perilous consequences. Yet when in love and lust could you expect any less?
